Author a custom Look

Looks are visual styles. Fork one from the catalog, tweak the palette and prompt suffix, and your brand has its own house aesthetic across every video.

The Look catalog at /app/looks is hundreds of curated visual styles - Pixar 3D, Family Guy 2D, Studio Ghibli, Noir, Anamorphic Action, plus 13 family taxonomies. The Mine tab is where your authored Looks live. You can fork a catalog Look or build from scratch.

Fork or build

Fork. Open any catalog Look at /app/looks, hit Fork. You get a private copy of every field - prompt suffix, palette, mood tags, typography - with Forked from lineage recorded. Edit anything; the original stays untouched.

Scratch. Hit New Look from the Mine tab. A blank form across 47 fields grouped by identity, taxonomy, image direction, palette, typography, audio. Fill what matters; defaults handle the rest.

What actually changes the render

Of the 47 fields, three carry most of the render weight:

  • image_prompt_suffix. The phrase appended to every cue's image prompt. neon-soaked rainy alley, anamorphic flares will steer the image model far more than a palette change.
  • color_primary and color_accent. Used by overlay typography and the cinematic chrome that frames the video.
  • card_style. Determines which overlay kit ships with the Look - the lower-thirds, the stat readouts, the watermark style.

Drafts and publish

Your Looks ship draft by default. Promote to published when you're ready to use the Look in real renders. Draft Looks still render fine; the status is for your own organization.

Bring it to VideoCue

Pick a catalog Look you like, fork it, change the prompt suffix to fit your brand's visual voice, save. The fork shows up immediately in the Mine tab and is available in every video's Look picker.
